Slime & Shine

In Slime & Shine, you play as a cute (but long-suffering) slime whose sole mission is to clean a dungeon infested with guts, blood, and organic remains after epic battles between monsters and adventurers.

This game combines frenetic arcade mechanics, a cartoonish aesthetic with exaggerated animations and roguelike progression based on random upgrades that alter each playthrough.

The project was developed collaboratively at university, including:

• A detailed Game Proposal with MDA, learning curve, narrative, level design, monetization, and marketing strategy.
• A comprehensive Game Design Document (GDD) that expands on the proposal with all implementable systems.
• A functional playable demo, featuring arcade rounds, a complete tutorial and slime animations.
